Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret / Chandigarh, India Edition Galerie Patrick Seguin 2014年出版 432ページ ハードカバー 30cm×25cm×5cm 特記： ラッピングのビニールが一部破れています（写真4, 5）。新品・未読品です。 ル・コルビジェとピエール・ジャンヌレは1922年にパリで建築スタジオを開き、それは1940年まで続くパートナーシップの幕開けとなった。本書はル・コルビジェとピエール・ジャンヌレによるインドのチャンディガール都市計画に関する一冊である。チャンディガール都市計画とはインドが独立して間もない頃、国全体の近代化のためにインドの首相がコルビジェとジャンヌレに建設を一から依頼して作った都市のこと。その際二人に与えられた指示は「伝統に邪魔されず、表現力と実験力を発揮してほしい」というものであった。 当時から現在に至るまでの写真が掲載された本書は、建築プロジェクトと制作された家具が記録されており、またチャンディガールに関するスケッチ、模型、図面も含まれたボリュームたっぷりの一冊となっている。さらにチャンディガールの撮影を担当した建築写真家、ルシアン・エルヴェの作品についての章も設けられている。
